FUNDRAISING WORKSHOP 15. 11. 2023
Agora CE in cooperation with DEMAS invites you to the fundraising workshop.
The workshop will take place on 15 th November 2023 in Prague Creative Centre –sál Janák
(Staroměstské náměstí 4/1). From 9.00 to 17.00.
The workshop is part of a project Professionalisation and extension of activities in priority
countries of Czech international development cooperation: Strengthening of evaluation and
fundraising capacities of Agora CE. The project was supported from the Czech development
agency as part of the International development cooperation of the Czech Republic.
TOPIC:
A practical guide to how to monitor relevant resources and how to prepare successful
projects. Regarding potential resources, we would like to focus on other than EU
programmes, e.g., governmental agencies or private foundations.

PROFILE OF THE TRAINER:
Marco Boaria (CEO of ALDA+ B-Corp and Director of Programs and Corporate Strategy at
ALDA)
– He has an experience of over 20 years working in the international field, in different
sectors using many different EU programs, cooperating with different DGs of the
European Commission, as well as with many public (i.e., Regions, Ministries, UN
agencies, etc.) and private and corporate donors (i.e., Foundations).
– He has been working as project coordinator, with particular focus on democracy,
participation, youth, and as external supervisor of European projects developed by
public and private entities.
– He regularly carries out training activities, directly promoted by ALDA and
collaborating with several European training agencies (i.e., SALTO centres, youth
national agencies, etc.), as well as with other public and private clients. Its
specialization as a trainer is primarily focused on the following topics/areas: project
cycle management and logical framework approach, fundraising, European funds,
participatory methods, non-formal education, youth.

The workshop will be held in English.
